More than a candle, this handmade vessel made by local artist, Angela Taylor, will serve as a functional art piece long after the candle is gone.
We've chosen our bestselling fall/winter scent, Grateful, for this vessel. It is the quintessential cozy home scent with notes of buttery pumpkin, cinnamon, clove & vanilla.
Please note that this is a handmade item. Each piece will have slight variations in size and appearance. Although it will be close, the candle you receive will not look exactly like the one pictured. Each vessel holds approximately 7.5 ounces of product.
The Jars of Clay Collection is a limited edition series that was inspired by 2 Corinthians 4:6-7 which says:
For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God's glory displayed in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. (NIV)

Why buy a candle from Mercy Candle Co? Each one of our candles is hand-poured in our studio using our custom blend of wax made from US grown soybeans. We use only the finest, phthalate free fragrance oils, and our wicks are made from cotton. All of this means that you can light our candles and breathe easy.

About our scent throw: Our 08oz candles are great for scenting a small to mid sized room. For larger spaces or rooms with high ceilings, you may need to combine a 2 candles if you prefer a stronger scent throw. Our 04oz candles are great for sampling, burning at your desk or for burning during travel to make your hotel room feel a little more like home.

Tips on burning: For best burning results, burn for 2-4 hours at a time to create a good melting pool and help your candle last longer. Do this by allowing the melted wax to reach the edges of the jar in order to prevent the wax from building up and "tunneling." Allow candle to cool completely before handling or re-lighting for your next burn. We recommend you let the initial burn of your new candle last at least an hour in order to create a proper melting pool diameter for future burns.
